Some of you have already heard the news but I am trying to reward those of you who read this blog (all 10 of you) with some news....We are having another baby! Reid will be a big brother although not that big if all goes as planned. The baby's due date is in mid January and we will find out the sex at the end of this month. We are very excited to welcome another new addition to keep Reid company.

1st Christmas

We had such a blessed Christmas with Reid! As you can see... he was very good this year. haha Or so his Aunt Jes and my mom think! It was amazing! Loved loved loved getting to enjoy all of the King family Christmas traditions after having to work at the VA over Christmas last year. Just wanted to share a few pictures that our friend Leopold took over the break.

December 2010

December was a busy month for the Patel family. Reid made his first trip to the zoo with us to see Zoo Lights. It was a little cold but we had fun! The rest of the month was busy with Neil and I both working a lot, but we loved having a few days off around the holidays. Jes flew home along with 2 of her friends and classmates, Xinyang and Leopold. Reid absolutely loved all of the attention. He loves him some house guests. :) Neil is working "nights" in January with mon-fri shifts from 4pm-11pm and I will start another busy month at the VA tomorrow. We are powering through. Thanks to both of our parents for visiting and helping so much!!

Surgery Day

We spent the morning at Lebonheur today for Reid to have an ear tag removed. Crazy enough they had to put him to sleep and intubate him for it. It only took 15 mins. once they got started and the surgeon said Reid did very well. Enjoying a day off to rest together!

Fall 2010 pictures

Reid will be 5 months old on Nov. 28th! We can't believe how fast time flies. He is eating cereal now and slept through the night for the first time last night! Praise the Lord! We are enjoying him so much and wanted to share some new pictures.

Yay for Fall

Hey! FINALLY I get a minute to update the blog! Life has been hectic as my work schedule has become increasingly more time consuming. I've been working in the Allergy clinic this month which has been hard work but I am really enjoying. Neil just finished a month of Interventional Radiology which was busy for him as well but I think he enjoyed a little change of pace. We are loving the fall and the cooler weather. It has been fun to watch some football, GEAUX TIGERS, and Reid looks great in all his LSU stuff. Plus Neil and I have always enjoyed going for walks and we have loved walking each night with Reid. Our neighborhood has a football team for kids, the Uptown Steelers, who practice 3-4 nights a week so we love watching them and getting to know our neighbors each night. Reid is growing so fast, smiling all of the time, realizing that he has hands and slowly figuring out how to use them. haha Neil actually put him in his crib over the weekend and he slept great! He's sleeping 6 hours or so at night which is a huge blessing for us. Life is good in the Patel house these days... hope everyone is doing great!!! Enjoy some pictures of our amazing boy!
